  Only reason they get a one is the waitress was awesome! Had breakfast at 7:30 am. Walked in and the cook was shoving food in her mouth. We ordered, food came out quickly. Food was cold, undercooked eggs and bacon. Pancake could be used for a frisbee, burnt and hard. Cold toast and biscuits. Sausage came out in a glob of nasty pork. No flavor, cheap. Never again.

  This is the 2nd time I've eaten here. You would have to go to a BBQ competition to get brisket better than what I got here. The smoke ring was about a 1/4", tender but not too tender that when you picked it up on your fork that it didn't stay together long enough to make it to your mouth. I like it with a little more bark on it. It was served w/ BBQ sauce on the side as they obviously have nothing to hide. After having most of the brisket w/o it, I tried it, it was perfect and didn't get in the way of the brisket flavor, probably made from the drippings. The owner did come out and talk with all in the dining area. He did say it was probably pulled off and wrapped and put back on too soon. The service was outstanding. She didn't have a name tag on so can't give her a shout out but she was the one w/o the Buckee's T-shirt that was on last night, Sunday evening, 9/25/16. Last time I had the country fried steak, it was very good as well. Very reasonably priced for both items. Last time had the coleslaw and beans, this time corn on the cob and I think slaw again.
